The Capitan Theatre in Pasadena, Tx, like so many others is no longer operational. But at Christmas-time they turn on the lights (those that still work)

Cascade Mountains, Washington

It took a while to get them posted but here are some shots from the Cascades. I wasn't able to get close to Mt Rainier because the road was closed in the higher elevations due to snow.

The two color shots are from the White River interpretive trail.

Excelsior Hotel

Historic Excelsior Hotel in Jefferson Texas. I highly recommend it. This is one of several period furnished rooms.

Caddo Lake

Here are images from a steamboat tour of Caddo Lake in east Texas. I highly recommend it. There's no place like the lake and traveling by steamboat is like no other transport.

Historic Jefferson Texas

These aren't intended to be art, just travel photos of some of the historic architecture in Jefferson, Tx.
Definitely worth a visit.

These images are from Glenwood Cemetary in Houston. Glenwood is known for its historic and artistic gravestones. I shot these images several weeks ago but finally came back to them.

Infrareds from the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas

Most of the images I've ever seen of the Riverwalk are color so I decided to specifically avoid color and take only infrareds.

Infrareds from Helena and other Texas small towns

We took the long way from Houston to San Antonio through Helena, Texas which is known as a ghost town (although there are actually a few homes in the town).
The story is told that the town was killed as the result of a gunfight.

Infrareds of Lost Maples State Park

Lost Maples is a popular destination during autumn due to the rarity of fall colors in Texas. But its also worth visiting "off-season".
